It is with great sadness that we have learnt of the passing of HRH The Duke of Edinburgh.  We are greatly saddened to hear of his passing and our thoughts are with the Royal Family at this sad time

ACE carry out monthly litter-picks, they take place on a Saturday morning between 9.30am – 11.00am, targeting various sections of the village. ACE provide Hi-Viz jackets, gloves, litter-grabbers and bags. You can join for as little or as long as you are able. This is an easy way to keep our village looking good.

The Council supports Action Castle Eden (ACE)which is a group of community volunteers who aim to improve community spirit and enhance the environment in the village, find out more about what events and activities are forthcoming or how to get involved.
